Somewhere along the way, Napa became increasingly defined by sameness—more oak, more extraction, more polish, more noise. We wanted to go back to what made this place extraordinary in the first place: real vineyards, thoughtful farming, and wines that speak clearly for where they come from.
IRAE is built around exceptional Napa Valley vineyards. From the historic valley floor to the rugged slopes of the Mayacamas, we seek out sites with pedigree, character, and something worth saying.
The wines are made with intention. Powerful without being heavy. Refined without being polished into anonymity. Built to age, but compelling from the beginning.
We have no interest in chasing trends, scores, or a manufactured idea of luxury.
To us, luxury isn't a gaudy bottle or an elaborate box. It's the vineyard. It's the farming. It's the barrels. It's the time. It's making less wine, demanding more from it, and having the patience to let nature do its thing.
